Aramex appoints Amadou Diallo as Group CEO

Diallo succeeds Nicolas Sibuet, who served as Acting Group CEO over the past year, maintaining momentum and advancing transformation initiatives during the interim period.
Global logistics and transportation solutions provider Aramex has announced that Amadou Diallo has officially taken over as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 May 2026, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s ongoing transformation journey.
The leadership transition comes as the company advances its “Accelerate28” strategy, focused on strengthening core operations, enhancing customer experience, and scaling capabilities across high-growth markets.
Welcoming the appointment, Shadi Malak, Chairman of the Board, said the company is entering a critical phase of expansion. He highlighted Diallo’s strong track record in operational excellence, innovation, and customer-centric leadership as key to reinforcing Aramex’s position in the global logistics sector.
“On behalf of the Board, we have full confidence in his ability to drive sustainable growth, enhance service capabilities, and create long-term value for stakeholders,” Malak said, adding that the company is well-positioned to build on its foundations and unlock new opportunities across regional and global markets.
Diallo brings more than three decades of experience in logistics and transportation, having led large-scale operations and transformation initiatives across multiple geographies. In his first statement as CEO, he emphasized a people-first and customer-focused approach to leadership.
“I am truly honored to join Aramex at such an important moment in its journey,” Diallo said. “We will foster an environment where every voice is heard and every idea is valued, enabling our people to deliver their best while keeping customers at the heart of everything we do.”
He outlined key priorities including driving operational excellence, accelerating digital capabilities, and enhancing end-to-end customer experience to meet the evolving demands of global trade and e-commerce.
Diallo succeeds Nicolas Sibuet, who served as Acting Group CEO over the past year. The company acknowledged Sibuet’s leadership in maintaining momentum and advancing transformation initiatives during the interim period.
As Aramex continues to evolve, it reiterated its commitment to consistent performance across core business lines, alongside ongoing investments in innovation, network optimization, and technology-driven solutions to support long-term, sustainable growth.
