Ministry of HR and Social Development appoints Sari Shokri as General Manager of Beneficiary Care

Shokri brings more than two decades of experience in telecommunications and customer service leadership experience, and joins the ministry after a long-standing career at Mobily.

Sari Shokri has been appointed as General Manager of Beneficiary Care at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in telecommunications and customer service leadership.


Shokri joins the ministry after a long-standing career at Mobily, where he held several senior leadership roles focused on customer care, complaint management, digital channels, and operational excellence. Most recently, he served as General Manager Customer Care – Complaint Management & Outbound.


Over the course of his career, Shokri has played a key role in driving customer experience transformation initiatives, improving customer satisfaction metrics, reducing complaints and regulatory escalations, and enhancing operational efficiency. He has also contributed to strengthening customer retention strategies and revenue protection programs.


During his tenure at Mobily, Shokri held multiple leadership positions, including General Manager of Customer Care, Manager of Complaints Management and Number Portability Services, Manager of Outbound Customer Service Communications, Manager of Digital Channels and Social Media, and Supervisor of Customer Service Call Centers.


Announcing his departure from Mobily, Shokri reflected on his nearly 22-year journey with the company, describing it as “more than just a job, it was a life experience.”


“After a professional journey spanning nearly 22 years at Mobily, today I stand with immense pride and gratitude reflecting on a path filled with countless challenges and achievements, shaped by exceptional leaders and an extraordinary team,” he shared.


Shokri also expressed gratitude to several leaders who influenced his professional journey, including Mobily CEO Nezar Banabeela, and former CEO Salman Albadran. “My journey was more than just a job, it was a life experience. A journey of learning, trust, and challenges through which I gained invaluable lessons on every level,” he said.


“As I leave this chapter behind, I carry deep appreciation for everyone who was part of it. I sincerely wish continued success and progress to all, and even greater leadership and achievements for Mobily in the telecommunications sector.”


On the academic front, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and has completed a Leadership Development Program at IESE Business School. In addition, he has earned several professional certifications in operational excellence and customer experience.
