Reem Algasim joins Airbus as Head of Human Resources

This marks her second stint with Airbus, as six years ago Algasim served as HR Business Partner in France.
Airbus, a global aviation and aerospace component manufacturer, has appointed Reem Algasim as Head of Human Resources in Saudi Arabia, effective immediately.
Algasim shared the news on LinkedIn, saying, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources at Airbus!”
She will be leading the HR department for the Defence and Space Division at Airbus. In her new role, Algasim brings over 15 years of HR leadership experience across the energy, aviation, automotive, technology, and healthcare sectors.
Algasim most recently served as the Head of HR at Signify, where she was part of the leadership team and led the HR function, overseeing the end-to-end people agenda across the country. As a Regional Behavior Champion, she played a key role in driving the company’s new Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and fostering a culture of transformation. She led Signify’s cultural transformation, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, strategic HR leadership, and talent management.
This marks her second stint with Airbus, as Algasim previously served as HR Business Partner in 2018 in France. Prior to this, she held key roles at Schneider Electric, Renault, OVH Cloud, Bedard Resources, and Pride Canada.
On the academic side, Algasim completed an MSc in International HR Management & Organizational Development from Grenoble School of Management, an MSc in Management (DESMA Grande École Program) from Grenoble School of Management, and a bachelor's degree in Public Management and HR from the University of Quebec in Montreal.

She has also completed several prestigious professional development programs, including an Executive Leadership Program in Digital Transformation at INSEAD, the iEDGE+ People Management Enablement Program by KNOLSKAPE, a Certificate in Sustainability Professionals of Saudi Arabia, an Associate Diploma in People Management by CIPD, the Forward Leadership Program by McKinsey & Company, and an Agile for HR program.
