SCFHS elevates Ahmed Alshamrani as CEO of National Center for Health Workforce Planning

Alshamrani, most recently serving as CEO of the Health Academy, has been with the Health Specialties Commission for nearly six years now.

Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) has appointed Ahmed Alshamrani as the Chief Executive Officer of its National Center for Health Workforce Planning, effective immediately. 

Alshamrani shared on LinkedIn, “I’m delighted to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Executive Officer of the National Center for Health Workforce Planning at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties!” 

Alshamrani has been with the Health Specialties Commission for five years, most recently serving as CEO of the Health Academy, and prior to that as Executive Director of Business Development & Capability Building. 

With over 15 years of leadership experience, he has previously served as Co-founder and CEO of Testahel, and as Marketing Leader at Roche. He also serves on the Ministry of Health’s National Committee for the Incubating Environment of Virtual Healthcare Solutions, and as Board Advisor to Al Jouf University’s College of Pharmacy. 

On the academic front, Alshamrani holds a Master’s in Public Health & Policy from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from King Saud University. He has also completed certifications in Change Management from APMG International, KPI Professional from The KPI Institute, and Management from Meirc Training & Consulting.
