Snap Inc. appoints Antoine Challita as Country Head - UAE

Challita brings over two decades of leadership experience in speaheaing business growth and go-to-market strategies.
Global technology company– Snap Inc. has appointed Antoine Challita as the UAE Country Head, effective immediately.
In his new role, Challita brings over two decades of leadership experience in speaheaing business growth and go-to-market strategies. He will be responsible for the development and execution of Snap’s business and commercial strategy while driving innovation and growth in key revenue streams.
“This appointment reinforces Snap’s long-term commitment to the market and the strategic importance of maintaining a strong presence in the Emirates. The UAE remains a vital hub for Snap in the MENA region, where the company is actively supporting the country’s digital transformation journey, deepening partnerships with brands and creators, and delivering value to the wider community,” the company said announcing the appointment.
Welcoming Challita to the leadership role, Hussein Freijeh, Vice President of Snap Inc. in MENA, said, “The UAE is one of our most important markets, and a key driver of innovation and partnerships across the region. Antoine’s appointment is a reflection of our commitment to growing our presence here and investing in strong local leadership. Challita joined Snap in 2019 as Head of Large Customer Sales, MENA, overseeing commercial planning, client development, and operational rigor across verticals and building high-performance talent pipeline. In his previous roles, he worked with Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi as a Lecturer for over five years, UM Worldwide as General Manager and Regional Business Head, OMD MENA as UAE Regional Director, and other key roles.

On the academic front, Challita holds an executive MBA from London Business School and Columbia Business School, a BBA and BSc in Computer Science from American University of Beirut.
Last year, Snap welcomed Abdulla Alhammadi as Managing Director for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to oversee the company’s regional partnership ecosystem and grow the team with flourishing local talent in the Kingdom.
